Luke Ski says "BE AMUSED BY ME"!!!

by the great Luke Ski

It's the great Luke Ski's 10th full length comedy music album, "Be Amused By Me". Whether that title is a request or a demand has yet to be determined. What we are sure of is that this CD contains songs about Disney buying Marvel, Chuck, The Big Bang Theory, Kevin Smith movies, Mel Brooks, Monty Python, Anime, Bruce Campbell, Serenity, Red Dwarf, his 3rd holiday fandom opus "It's A Fanboy Christmas 3", and "Snoopy The Dogg", the most requested song of the year thus far on both "The Dr. Demento Show" and "The Mad Music Dementia Top 20". Featuring Carrie Dahlby, Devo Spice, Insane Ian, Flat 29, TV's Kyle, and many other friends from the FuMP, it's an album Carrie Dahlby said to me is "probably your best CD since Unconventional". Who am I to argue? Click here to order the MP3 version for $9.99, and click here to order the CD with instant MP3 download for $14.00 plus shipping.

The Funny Music Podcast Nominated For A Parsec!

by Devo Spice

The FuMP is pleased to announce that our companion podcast The Funny Music Podcast has been nominated for a Parsec award!

The FuMPCast, as we like to call it, is a weekly show hosted by Devo Spice and the great Luke Ski which discusses the two most recent songs posted to The FuMP, as well as funny music news, and user feedback. Whenever possible the artists who posted the songs are invited on for live interviews to discuss their work. The show is broadcast live every Thursday night on Dementia Radio at 10pm Eastern, 7pm Pacific. The show is then served as a podcast, or users can listen directly from our web site.

The Parsec Awards celebrate excellence in podcasting and in 2009 added the music category which The FuMP won! We are thrilled that The FuMPCast has now been nominated. Good luck to all the other nominees, which are The GeekSpin, Radio Free Hipster, and Renaissance Festival Podcast.
