Have you just snoozed your alarm for the seventh time this morning? Are you reading this on a laptop in bed while hiding under the covers unable to summon the gumption to get up and face the world? Is there a sign on your door reading "Go Away, Reality, We Don't Want Any?" You, my friend, need this song.
Baldbox is a collaboration between Shoebox of Worm Quartet and Rob Balder of Rob Balder. This song will appear on Baldbox's debut disc, "The Dumb Album," which was conceived and recorded over the course of a single weekend so that we'd have an excuse if and when it sucked. Dropping at MarsCon.

"Veni, vidi, fumpi": Latin for "I came, I saw, I fumped"! This only has one swear in it, and it's at the end, so this might just be airing soon on Shillelagh Safari - planning a "weird show" soon, and Baldbox is a square peg which fits that particular round hole perfectly!

very funny stuff guys.

Once again, you guys are my heroes. Simply awesome.

Nice spoken word. I loved the "Aquaman" part =)

I want it known that I was forced, under threat of - ummm, having nothing to do that particular day, to be involved in this album. Of all the collaborations going on in the world of dementia, this one is certainly the latest. Huzzah!!!!

Every Baldbox song I've heard thus far has been gold! Damnhellass gold!
KingErroneous - Mar 3, 2009
My reaction can only be expressed one way: o_O Plus the BaldBox picture is creepy.
lukeski - Mar 3, 2009
Or, you could misspell 'BaldBox', and achieve the same thing that way...
lukeski - Mar 3, 2009
This could be the day you leave a comment informing BaldBaox that you think this song is awesome and rules and is hilarious, but it accidentally posts twice in a row, making you look like an ass who doesn't know how to work the internet.
Alchav - Mar 3, 2009
I lol'd.
maxgoof - Mar 3, 2009
LOL!!! Okay, you had me grinning through most of this, but when you got to "Carpe Diem! That's Latin for, "Get the **** off of my couch!" I cracked up!! Very well done!

This is so positive and uplifting, I hate that I didn't listen to it first thing this morning instead of late in the afternoon. Well ... maybe tomorrow will be the day that I trip going down some steps and bust my teeth on a kid's tricycle that was left there for some unknown reason.

I love the name Baldbox right off the bat. The song(?) is pretty funny. Good take off on Deteriorata.

Oh lord, I did listen to this first thing this morning and I just hope that I'm fortunate enough to have my day jump-started by a bright-eyed, spirited child who might run up and punch me in the groin... Or, maybe not.

Now, y'see, I always thought "Carpe Diem" was Latin for "God is a goldfish". Guys? This. Is. A. Hoot.
ProjectSisyphus - Mar 12, 2009
Absolutely beautiful, Baldbox rules
djseamus - Mar 31, 2009
I caught your video interview on The Fump Vol. 13...good stuff, Rob and Shoebox, and some cool interaction with Marc Gunn. Those cup-cakes look (and sound) delicious...I want one!
Balder - Apr 5, 2009
Heh, I hadn't watched it til you said something. It did come out pretty funny, though I was both sick and drunk at the time. That's a good glimpse of the MarsCon party scene there. Those cupcakes were...okay.
djseamus - Apr 9, 2009
This Fump's still fresh after a couple of weeks; still timely and still awesome! I shall have to consider purchasing me some Baldbox!

Well, my roommate came to my door as I was getting ready for a night shift, and heard my morning song. "What the fuck are they saying?"

Totally agree with maxgoof on that. The last line of this track kills me.
