It has been three years since we released the last Raymond And Scum album, SUCK, and believe it or not, we have started working on Album III! ODE TO DEBI is the first completed track and we are throwing it out to you, the fine folks of the FuMP, to devour it like only FuMPers can.
Old school Raymond And Scum fans may remember a version of this tune from our 1997 EP, ALMOST. We used to play the song quite often until a more popular comedy band produced their own WAY more popular song about a girl named DEBBIE. But at the past couple of Raymond And Scum live shows, we brought the song back from the dead and changed things up a bit -- mainly the spoken MIDDLE section -- which changes from show to show. Really, that middle section is why for a couple of hours we had an EXPLICIT tag on the song. No bad words, mind you -- unless you count the word whore. It just gets weird. But we took the EXPLICIT tag off cause it's not really THAT bad. And be happy the studio version of this song is only 7 1/2 minutes. The live version has sometimes gone on so long, it has been the only song we played in our entire set.
So please enjoy our brand new studio recording of ODE TO DEBI. Cha cha cha.

Haha!!! I always did love this song. Nice revival of an already classic tune. I doubt you needed an "Explict" warning on this one.

I think you're right, Dino-Mike. EXPLICIT Tag OFF.

That was a beautiful story...

Great piece of comedy here...just kept topping itself. Awesome, guys.

I haven't heard this yet, but it's already my favorite Debi song-sorry Hot Waffles.

Epic story-telling, epic guitar playing, it was epic-all-over, R. and S. Great job! I would have put a squick tag in front of this instead of an explicit one, though. (Of course this isn't Seamonkey's "Jane Doe"; nothing is more squik than that). But I think talk of knitting needles and human members just says some degree of squick, don't you?

This makes me happy and sad.

Did somebody say NOSTALGIA? Hush, we're gonna do this!!!

It is slightly squicky but Raymond and Scum is always great!

Frightening imagery and I loved the Jimmy Stewart impersonation.
