Welcome back, sir! Funny, short and, yes, weird. Good stuff! (and it's about damn time!)

devospice - Jul 1, 2011

Yay! Cool song. Great to have you back.

dino-mike - Jul 1, 2011

It'a about time!!! I was in need of a Balder fix!

jessesmithproductions - Jul 1, 2011

Damn. Brilliant. Starts off odd and ends up being a heart-tugging mini-treatise on how the world (life?) grinds down our specialness. I'm a sucker for this stuff - I've tried writing songs about this but they always come out sounding pathetic or whiny. Nicely done! PS Folks: If you like this topic go find and watch the 1965 movie "A Thousand Clowns".

weirdojace - Jul 1, 2011

Awesome! Welcome back!

ladyomniscience - Jul 1, 2011

Nice groove. I like it. I'd love to hear a mix that's a bit heavier on the vocals. The instrumentals are a little overpowering and make it hard to understand some of the lyrics.

davewhite - Jul 1, 2011

More Balder brilliance!! I hope we won't have to wait another 2 years for the next one. Excellent non comeback!!

Balder - Jul 1, 2011

Thanks, guys. @LadyO I thinned out the vocals because I was coming down with a cold when I was up against the recording deadline, and could not get a sound I was happy with. Putting a stylized treble-only filter was the best result I could get with it. I may re-record, because when I was writing it earlier in the week my voice sounded a hell of a lot better. Certainly less stuffed up and nasally. :(

simmkath - Jul 2, 2011

I really enjoyed it, and hope that the throat is getting better.

weirdojace - Jul 2, 2011

That's what she said.

mrwompy - Jul 3, 2011

Excellent advice --- being crazy is what keeps you going in this crazy world!!

seamonkey - Jul 15, 2011

I love the lyrics. Write more like this, please. Maybe with juuuuust a little more sex.

Balder - Jul 15, 2011

@seamonkey Would it help if I told you I got to third base with the swan?

dlunas - Jul 28, 2011

Wow, this turned out great.

djseamus - Aug 5, 2011

Stellar, Rob. This song should go on rotation at all the major radio stations in the country; it's very catchy, and the title speaks to all of us.
