Hi, I turned 47 this year, and apparently I write angry political songs now. This is a mean-spirited retort to a mean-spirited slogan, inspired by a recent trip to the south where I was inundated by a certain phrase, only to come back north to find that Kid Rock's "We The People" was a thing that existed.
This is from the new "Take The Fire Back" digital single, available even as we speak on Bandcamp as well as Spotify, iTunes, and all those other places where people do the streamyweamies.
Vocals, backing vocals, programming, and production by Shoebox

Great song, mean spirited retorts suit your music well. I also didnt realize "we the people" has become a thing, here in Michigan we see those signs scattered around the rural areas...it's just an easy way to tell whos suckeling on the conservative teet. And the closer you get to Detroit, the less you see that slogan around.

Awesome song which stands out among the many political ones which have been created over the past 6 years. As with other similar tracks, wished that the ignorance that inspired this song did not exist.
