I may know next to nothing about blues music, but I know a pretty
decent amount about everybody's favorite midwest born and raised
B-movie actor, Bruce Campbell. So with some
excellent musical fakery by Ben Stahl
of the MusicIANs and mastering by Chris
Mezzolesta, I was able to write and record this
pendulum-stopping tribute to Bruce, primarily focusing of course on his
role as 'Ash' in the Evil Dead / Army of Darkness films. So have a
happy Halloween, douse yourself in some red-food-coloring-laden Karo
Syrup, and "Come get some."
PS: Don't forget about my other modern horror tribute song "Gory Gory Hallelujah".

Groovy!

Love the concept, the title, the last movie title parody (Spoiler alert: it's hilarious), and the general idea. The only thing is that the lyrics seem a little rushed to fit the standard blues parameters, which doesn't make it sound too bluesish.

batlrar: Rushing the lyrics was an intentional joke, which is why I do it regularly throughout the whole song.

Fun! Makes me want to go down the street to the Santa Fe Grill biker bar on band night and get liquored up. Luke - you gotta route this to Bruce, he's so cool and would love it. But you probably already thought of that. Link to a great interview here: http://www.bruce-campbell.com/newsroom.asp?specific=255

Great job, Mr. Lukeski!! You need to make wacky blues your primary genre!!

The blues parody sounds good to me, too. Is the movie sequel to "MY Name is Bruce" you mentioned on the fumpcast going to be like the comic series (which I haven't seen) called "Jason vs. Freddy vs. Ash?

Obligitory comment!! Now, who is Bruce Cambell??

This song actually prompted me to pull out my copy of the Evil Dead Trilogy for a rewatch.

Comment: I wish the vocals were a bit louder so I could understand all the lyrics! If I could, it wouldn't be the first time I enjoyed a song of yours that I didn't actually have any knowledge of the subject matter.
