Millions of people today suffer from loneliness and alienation. Heck, let's face it: most of them deserve it. Fortunately, though, today's plethora of social networking sites gives anyone with a computer and fairly tolerant views on grammar and punctuation access to thousands of potential bros and BFFs. But which to choose? Facebook, with its privacy-invading data mining software, can reunite you with your third-grade bully. There's Bebo, which apparently sports its very own suicide club. Twitter is king for those of us who need to bore others with the minutiae of our everyday lives-"Now I'm buying a tomato!" "Now I'm picking at my bunions!"-and so on.
Any one of these fine sites can connect you with your fellow internet users. Our favorite remains MySpace, though, because where else can you find cyber-companionship AND the world's largest repository of horrendous "music" from talentless bands?
Ten thousand thanks to featured lead vocalist Bob Ricci. Lyrics by the VERY popular Spaff.

Thanks all for your nice comments! DJ-the end vocal is actually my wife Connie. Originally this song was in a higher key and she sang a ref vocal. When Bob R sang it, I forgot to remove that end piece by mistake but thought it sounded cool in the wrong key that way. She does kinda sound like Carrie though!

The music here sounds like Devo and Wierd Al Yankovic having cyber-tea party. It's especially timely for me having just created a Facebook profile over the holiday break. Was that Carrie Dalhby making a brief cameo at the end?

Hmm, a track that could be on a Bob Ricci, Project Sisyphus, and Moneyshot Cosmonauts albums. Great work guys.
weirdojace - Feb 4, 2009
Yeah all these artist crossover tracks are getting confusing. This is a Project Sisyphus song. And the lyrics are written by Spaff, who usually writes Robert Lund's material, and the songs he writes that aren't Lund's get credited to Moneyshot Cosmonauts but not this time because Bob Ricci sings it. Good lord. How many ways do the royalties for this song get split?

Royalties. Heh heh heh.

However you classify it, it's a dream team performance. Well done!

I'm afraid that now I must cancel your being a friend on MySpace. Please change your lyrics to reflect this. Thank you. -- I mean, way cool! Kudos (of all kinds) to you and Bob and Spaff.
