I wrote this song after having a long pointless argument on Facebook with somebody who not only didn't believe in science (one of those "the earth is 6000 years old" people), but actually believed that science is an enormous global conspiracy set by a "world government" that's deliberately meant to spread lies in order to mask the truth. He believed that every single bit of science text in the entire world, in any country, whether in a book or online, was peer reviewed by a single world government entity before being allowed to exist. For real.
This song is about that conspiracy. Also, the name of the song comes from my friend's dad, who actually once said, "I don't trust scientists. All they do is make up hypotenuses."
Features Shoebox of Worm Quartet on backup vocals! This song is, again, on our new album Psycho Delicacy!
Kyle Thorne: vocals, guitars, bass
Jace McLain: keyboards, backing vocals, percussion, fake drums
Eric Zhu: drums
Timothy F. Crist: backing vocals
