Michael Aitch Price, alias Michael H. Price, is a Texas-based cartoonist and jazz musician, as well as the author of the long-running FORGOTTEN HORRORS series of motion-picture encyclopedias. Price's albums of Goofball Music include COGNITIVE DISSONANCE, VOODOO KILLED THE RODEO STAR, and THE WHOLE CHRISTMAS KABOODLE!, and THE MUSIC OF FORGOTTEN HORRORS VOL. 4 (Cremo Records; 2013-2015), in addition to assorted ventures into jazz, blues, and traditional country music. Price's studio productions include a comeback album for Grand Ole Opry veteran Big Bill Lister; four albums by the comedy-bluegrass ensemble known as Salt Lick; reunion sessions for Bob Wills' Original Texas Playboys and the Light Crust Doughboys; and a series of CDs featuring his blues-and-jazz ensembles, Bruton & Price Swingmasters Revue, Michael Aitch Price & His Bluesicians, and Diddy Wah Diddy -- the latter, with the ledge and dairy Texas guitarists Slim Richey. A new album by Price's Musical Miscreants is in preparation, as is a fresh volume in his graphic-novel series, COMICS FROM THE GONE WORLD.
