Gail Gallagher is a Chicago based Singer-Songwriter, Composer, improv music director, and teacher whose lyric-driven songs reflect on the highs and lows of life exploring nuances of whimsy and wisdom. Gail has worked as a music director in the improv and theatre scene for nearly a decade and has composed original music for several musicals including Feathers: A Super Hero Musical which won “Best underscore throughout” at the 2017 Premiere Premieres Festival of New Musical Comedies at MCL Chicago. She recently released her debut album Power of the Unnamed Passion which is available on all streaming platforms. When she’s not working on music, Gail enjoys knitting, drinking craft beer, watching nerdy tv shows, deep diving on spirituality and creativity, and hanging out with friends and going on hiking adventures with her husband, Sam.
