My name is Bob Lazzar-Atwood and I have enjoyed writing songs and verse poetry since I was a child. My biggest influence when I was younger was Shel Silverstein but once I discovered John Prine he took over the top spot. I write mainly folk and country songs and often try to inject my lyrics with a lot of humor and sarcasm. Although I do record my own songs I write mainly for others who can play and sing a lot better than I can. I often write under the name "Bobby Wayne" because my real last name is too long and "Wayne" was my father's name. I have been happily married for 38 years and have two beautiful daughters and my first grandchild. My number one dream as a songwriter is to someday have at least one of my songs receive some national airplay.
