In the absence of anything official, I made up my own name for Yoda's species: "kazforn", which is an anagram of "Frank Oz".

Since I have never heard the original of "Old Town Road" (I can't keep track of what you kids are listening to these days), I'm having the strange experience of Luke's song and Devo's song getting mashed together in my head:
"When I save the life of this Small Round Yoda, I wanna cry till I can't no more"

The Westin North Shore is a great hotel. It's been the hotel of Capricon for years and it's always been a fantastic experience. I'm looking forward to coming this year. (Next year they have to move elsewhere because of a remodel.)

Since Insane Ian might be on the show, I want to pick his brain.
Ian, you were on the We're All Yancovics podcast a while back and had some insightful comments on Pancreas, Skipper Dan, and style parodies in general.
So, I want to ask about your opinion on Stuck In A Closet With Vanna White. I mean the Weird Al Wiki lists it as a style parody of Aerosmith and Van Halen, but that sort of sounds like that was said by someone who thinks those bands sound exactly alike. Every time I listen to the song, I feel like it reminds me of some band, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Nice filling while Luke ordered dinner, Devo!
So FuMPFest has Dr. Demento, Devo Spice, Luke Ski, Worm Quartet, Nuclear Bubble Wrap, and the Boobles? *And* they're hosting the Logan Awards? It's Deep South Con 50, all over again!
