Last year I was contacted by a guy creating a cartoon for the Disney Channel called Gravity Falls. He's a fan of mine and wanted me to submit some theme songs for consideration. So I did! Sadly, they were not chosen, though I'm told the second was high in the running.
My first attempt, a song with lyrics. Apparently the execs were hoping for something mentioning the title of the show multiple times, so I did that. I like the chord changes in this a lot and maybe I'll recycle them someday.
I'm sad I wasn't accepted. The show looks really fun.
Too bad it didn't get chosen; I would have watched whatever show had this theme!
