2015-09-16 Raymond and Scum
Everybody has a great time at FuMPFest, but
Hello, friends. Jeff Smith, one half of Raymond and Scum here and I've started a Kickstarter campaign for my indie short film called "Everybody Dies at ScaryCon." I'm coming to you, my friends at the FuMP, to help me get the movie funded! If you click over to www.ScaryCon.com and read the "Our Story" section, you'll even find an Easter egg for all of you "Weird Al" fans out there. We've got rewards like T-shirts, Posters, DVDs, a chance to be in the film, etc. The campaign ends on October 7 so if you can, please support the film. Thank you!

Donate to Nuclear Bubble Wrap's Recording Studio!
Since we're making the transition to having our own fully functioning recording studio, we've decided to launch an IndieGoGo to help us get the microphones for our drum set (the last thing we need), as well as help us with the mastering and duplication costs of our new album, Multiverses. If you donate, you get stuff in return!

Consortium of Genius releasing new CD 'Strange Transmissions From Uranus'
The Consortium of Genius is releasing a new 12 track album, 'Strange Transmissions From Uranus', on Friday Sep 4th 2015. This album, the group's 5th, is being released on CD only (no online edition of this will be issued) and is being sold only at their live shows. The album is a studio-recorded retrospective of favorite cover songs (by other geniuses) that the Consortium of Genius has performed in the last 17 years. Assisting the current seven member group are ten former members of the band. The album was entirely recorded and mastered at C.O.G. Secret Lab Studio in Harahan, LA. Cover illustration was done by Jessie Craig, who also draws the C.O.G. online comic book. Further information including a track listing is here: www.consortiumofgenius.com/album5

I NEED YOUR HELP!!! BE IN MY NEW VIDEO!!!
I need help with my new music video called "Are You Still Watching?" about binge watching TV online.

Basically I need you (and maybe a special someone) to film yourself on the couch for about 15-30 seconds grooving to the song I've linked below (mine is not finished yet). I request that you hold up a sign or something (be creative) with the number for hours/days/episodes of the show you've ever binge watched the most. For example, my sign would say, "7 hours - American Horror Story".

If you're shooting from your phone, please shoot horizontally (like a movie). Make sure that you are well-lit... it looks like garbage if it's dark.

Please take inspiration from the video as this is a direct parody. Anything goes, please go crazy!!! -- but I will blur out things that are too crazy due to YouTube's policy.

Email them to: dino-mike@dino-mike.com

Let me know if you have ANY questions and THANK YOU in advance for your help!!! I am looking to have this video released in about a month, so please have your clip to me no later than Sept 11th.

Mike

The FuMP Volume 51 Now Available
It's been almost two years since TV's Kyle and the great Luke Ski teamed up to start their long-awaited podcast about cartoons, and they just now finally got around to recording a theme song! That, and more, can be found on The FuMP Volume 51, which features all of the songs posted to TheFuMP.com during May and June of 2015 (while we were off partying at FuMPFest).

Hear Steve Goodie serenade Weird Al's daughter in a totally-not-in-any-way-creepy way! Hear an ode to a classic B movie of the 1950s! Hear Robert Lund try to pass a kidney stone! And yes, it's as painful as it sounds.

This CD also features a video of Steve Goodie performing "My Dog Never Multitasks" live at FuMPFest.
