Rob Balder, creator of Erfworld, PartiallyClips, and this here FuMP right here, penned this song back in 2010 and performed it at MarsCon. Earlier this year Rob donated to the Kickstarter campaign for the Logan Whitehurst Memorial Award For Excellence in Comedy Music... yet another thing he created. He donated at the level to receive a commissioned song by one of the artists, and decided for his reward he wanted Shoebox and I to cover this song. So here we are. Thanks, Rob! Hope you enjoy what we did to your song. (That sounded far more sinister than it was intended.)
I programmed the drums for this song and then sent them to Shoebox who added the rest of the music. Then we added our vocals with some background vocals by Insane Ian, the great Luke Ski, and the crowd at MarsCon, and presto. The game has been raised.
In other news my new album Herp Derp Ya Don't Sterp will be released on December 2nd and if you order it on BandCamp on that day you will also receive a bonus album titled Ermahgerd! Bernis Trrrks!
And if you're in the Trenton area I'll be opening for Psychostick on November 11th. Get your tickets here.

Every day similar thoughts flow through the dry dirt of my meager mind and with emotional moisture simply muddy my thoughts. Well done Devo and others.

Loved this song when Balder performed it at Marscon years ago. Love it now as a Devo & ShoEboX joint. Glad I could be a part of it, shouting along and saying "word to Balder". If ever there was an anthem for us, it's this...
...well, this and "Internet Famous" ;-P

The game has indeed been raised! I remember being at the MarsCon where this was first performed. Very glad to see it get released.
