Tony Goldmark The Guy On TV Is Not Happy (2013 Version)
America america america, america America-america #America america-america America. America america america AMERICA (america america america america america america america america America. America's Americath america america) america america america America AmERICA america america, america america america america-america america america AMERICA america america america america america america america america, america america america america-america america AMERICA AMERICA AMERICA!

(Translation for the America-impaired)

At long last, my Logan-nominated #6 most-requested Dr. Demento song of 2010 (not to mention the last song played on Dr. D's 40th anniversary show) is available on The FuMP for download, in a spiffy kinda-new version for 2013 with a new chanty section in the solo, recorded for my still-upcoming album GOLDMARK AFTER DARK!

This song is a heartfelt tribute to the true endgame of the American first amendment, to the REAL heroes who lead us all, the heroes whose heavily makeup'd faces often inhabit that OTHER glowing rectangle in your room over there. Armed only with their shiny whiteboards, their teams of assistants and of course their infallibly mutated word-rearrangements that stumble half-stillborn from their brain-loins, these beautiful heroes do nothing less than singlehandedly KEEP AMERICA FROM EXPLODING. And in return, they ask only for the pittance of a seven-figure paycheck they may blow their nose with.

Also, it's got a beat and you can dance to it! Happy fourth of July!

Produced by Joe Goldmark and Tony Goldmark
Engineered by Garth Webber
Guitar - Hank Maninger
Bass - Paul Olguin
Keyboards - Henry Salvia
Drums - Paul Revelli
Gang Background Vocals - Sam Barry, Joe Goldmark, Hank Maninger, Joshua Langland, Gary Potterton, Henry Salvia, Jack Shen and Garth Webber

I am not happy with this remake. No, not at all. I need to fly down to where ever Tony is staying right now and protest on his front lawn! That sounds like a good way to spend my July 4th weekend.
