Luke Ski here. Back in my formative years as a comedy performer, I had two diametrically opposed schools of thought vying to influence me. The PG-rated ruled and structured improvisation club I worked at, versus the R-rated intentionally offensive dadaist anarchy that ensued when I filmed sketches privately with my close friends. This sketch explores the pros and cons of both, giving a loving hug and a middle finger simultaneously. This track is from our new album "Stupid Cowboy Thing: Volume 2 - Additional Squid", available now in the FuMP store.

I remember watching you do this at Con on the Cob, and laughing my head off. This was brilliant!

I have to wonder how closely this skit resembled reality at some point. I was laughing by the end.

Enjoyed seeing it done live as well as the entire album.

Ah, improv. This reminds me of a few theater workshops I've attended. You have to admit, the scene really did start to progress once Shoebox started saying "yes."

The live CdSW improv at MarsCon was better. Mostly because we could see the reactions of everyone on stage as they did this skit. Extremely well done!!

I've been waiting for the actual CDs so I can listen to the new songs for the first time while I'm driving... Maybe I should reconsider; almost crashed from laughing so hard during this one! :D

Like every improv group I've ever been in.
