Sneaking Snacks Into the Cinema featuring the great Luke Ski and Carrie Dahlby

Do you enjoy buying armfuls of delicious snacks when you are at the movies? Can you actually afford it?
No, of course you cant, and neither can we. So we did a song all about sneaking our favourite meals into the cinema and eating them discreetly under the cover of darkness like culinary spies.
Written and performed by: Dan [Flat 29], the great Luke Ski, Carrie Dahlby
Also featuring: Rich [Flat 29] on guitar, piano, and vocals, the authoritative voice of Charlie [Flat 29], and backing vocals by Emily Davis [of no fixed band]
Produced by Dan and mixed very late into the night
EDIT: We can now reveal the poster for the new Clooney/Pitt vehicle - Handsome Spies, as mentioned in verse one of this song.

During the duration of the writing and recording process of this song, I kept a Chipotle chicken burrito in my pants. Why? Research. Also, it was warm and toasty and it felt good. And I was hungry. I am so psyched and honored to be a part of this track. Finally the "Big Book Of Everything" joined comedy music podcasting forces with "Bad Rapport", resulting in the first Trans-Atlantic FuMP Collaboration. I hope it fills you all with the warmth and joy you can only get by having a burrito in your pants for several weeks upon end. |

Does this song take place in England or America? It seems to jump back and forth. Is the money dollars or pounds? No one in America would say OAP (or probably know it stands for old age pensioner.) I still don't know what the hell piri piri is. Groovy song, but it needs someone in charge of continuity. |

Great stuff. TMI about the burrito in your pants, Luke. My favorite part? Groundhog Day.

Clearly, this takes place on a beautiful unknown island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean where Brits and Yanks (and thus dollars and pounds) peacefully co-exist (without actually breeding or adopting one another's ways). Like, duh!! |

Man I so want to play this at the local theatre, where they just raised the small drink to $3.50, the small popcorn to $5.25, seriously stupid. I have to thank them for helping me stick to my diet though. |

AMC raised their ticket prices a couple months ago. I don't know how people can afford the snacks after the ticket |

I don't usually dig rap, but this is really entertaining, and as I am a fan of movies, not to mention movie snacks, I can definately relate to it. I must admit I don't get the different abbreviations you use in the song, but that doesn't matter too much; good work Flat 29, as well as Luke and Carrie. It's good to hear genuine, internationally-made comedy music. I really want to see "The King's Speech", and I could really go for a bag of raisanettes (sp?) right now. |

Awesome song. Just realized I could not afford to get the crispy nachos. I don't care for nachos anyway so it is all good. |
