Thank you for summarizing my views on popular music.

Amazingly done!!! Loved working on it with you, better be more to come!! YOu ROCk my WoRLd <3

nflskins - Aug 20, 2010

Beyond being an incisive parody of today's music, it is very well done musically. Bravo!

DJ Particle - Aug 20, 2010

Little known fact about this, from Dino-Mike's Facebook. When he first recorded the vocals, Autotune wouldn't work because he was too on-tune. *heh* Yes, he had to purposely sing off-tune to get the desired effect. :)

morningsidekick - Aug 20, 2010

Yeah, nailed it! Sweet engineering too. Damn Rachel sounds like Kate Bush! Now I gotta dig out her CDs and listen this weekend.

Thanks guys! I'm very excited to finally be a member of the FuMP =)

EclecticLee - Aug 20, 2010

Awesome commentary on autotune, particularly the part where it stopped working. Glad you've been promoted up from the sideshow!

devospice - Aug 20, 2010

Awesome track, dude. You've nicely summed up my feelings of modern pop-hip-hop here.

badavecom - Aug 20, 2010

This one is easily my favorite of yours, I've already played it on my pod cast, and it may represent a good portion of today's hip hop (and indeed all genres) but Jason DeRulo is particularly deserving of it. . .great job.

Insane Ian - Aug 20, 2010

Brilliant. Welcome to the FuMP, friend.

weirdojace - Aug 20, 2010

Awesome parody with an awesome video. Nailed it.

BathTub - Aug 22, 2010

Great stuff.

How appropriate that I want to say "all the same" things everyone else is saying... Awesome parody with an awesome video. Nailed it. Thank you for summarizing my views on popular music. Brilliant. I really liked the ponytail. YEAH!! I HATE MODERN "MUSIC" THAT USES AUTO-TUNE AS AN "INSTRUMENT" OR A "BRUSH" OR WHATEVER THE F THEY THINK IT IS!! IT'S LIKE USING A LUBE-RACK AS A VEHICLE!!!! IDIOTS!!! Okay, I'm done now. DinoMike, you ROCK!

dino-mike - Aug 23, 2010

Thank you for that brief summation Steve =)

stevegoodie - Aug 23, 2010

That's why I'm here, Mike.

thedancingbuddha - Aug 24, 2010

Well done, Dino-Mike! I am very glad to see you here with the other FUMP Masters. That only means one thing... work faster!

wildcard9 - Aug 27, 2010

This was excellent. I wonder if there is a way to put this onto the next FuMP CD as a bonus song (HINT! HINT!!)

ProjectSisyphus - Aug 27, 2010

Forgot to mention, Mike's videos are totally worth a look: http://www.youtube.com/dinomike13

ProjectSisyphus - Aug 27, 2010

Wow great to see this up here. This was one of the toughest projects Sisyphus Productions ever tried to pull off, because it's really a song within a song...the Jason DeRulo song desecra...er, samples the harmonized vocals of Imogen Heap. We took Rachel's melody and artificially added something like 16 parts lol. And yes, it is true we had to get Mike to sing more off key to trigger the pitch correction and especially the part where it fails

dino-mike - Aug 30, 2010

Thanks Bob! The magic is in your mad-engineering skillz!!!

voiceroy - Aug 31, 2010

Wow. Great production and great satire on a useful tool for music editing that has turned the music industry into a bunch of tools and hacks.
