With Valentine's Day just around the corner, here's a love song for y'all.
It's a parody, as you've already deduced, of "Lookin' for Love," a big ol' hit for Johnny Lee [and, later, Buckwheat].
After witnessing Seamonkey and Seamonkette's career-defining 2007 concert at the Holiday Inn in Akron, Ohio, Spaff wrote this biographical sketch for the pair. After only two years of begging, they gave in and recorded it.
Incidentally, the drummer for Seamonkey's side project, The Boobles, used to play for Johnny Lee. Seriously. It's almost like that British guy who accidentally married his own twin sister.
M. Spaff Sumsion: Concept and lyrics
Bob Emmet: All instruments and music mixing
Seamonkette: Vocals
Seamonkey: Vocals and final mixing
