ANOTHER BARNYARD ODDITY FROM THE SEAMONKEY!!
"Boom Boom Pow", the 1st single from the Black Eyed Peas' new album, rocketed straight to the top of the charts with its bangin' beat and nifty effects... but it lacks ONE thing: COWS!!!
Now the #1 song in America meets the #1 animal in the world... if you're a carnivore! Seamonkey is joined by The Seamonkette, EMC from Positive Attitude and Bessie the Rapping Cow to serve up the beef in this parody that would make PETA hip-hoppin' crazy! Make sure to pop this one in the car and hear the meat beat... LOUDLY... Yummy yummy moo moo!
Special thanks to "Big Mike" Richardson for his skills with his organ!

YAY! Someone parodied this AWFUL (yet strangely, number one hit) song! This is awesome, brilliant and funny...thank you Seamonkey! You're my savior (and kept me from having to do it myself)! |

Dude!! This is awesome! I love the insertion of Cohen's Billy The Kid, from the Beef Council's commercials at the end. What software did you use for the autotuning? |

So happy to be the first to say, this is UDDERLY MAGNIFICENT. My favorite bovine music since the Arrogant Worms' "I Am Cow." Extra points for sneaking Aaron Copeland's "Rodeo" into the breakdown section. |

I made it all the way through, which is more than I can say for the original. Now I feel like having a steak for dinner. |

Never heard of the original until you did this song and named the artist and I had to JFGI to find the song and hear it. The Stylistics would have done more justice to the original than the BEP ever did. Your parody was dead on funny and demented. Might be featured on the Mad Music Comedy Zone next month. Your song was udderly ridiculous. |

I can't believe anyone listens to this crap if it doesn't have funny lyrics. It sounds like it took about 10 minutes to make the "music." |

Actually, it took a lot of creating sounds, mixing and editing to get it to sound like the original. It was a lot of work! But thanks for all the kind comments everyone... now call your local pop radio station and request "Moo Moo Cow" and lets rep the FuMP out to the masses for once! |

So, did you have to actually bring any cows into the studio? |

I was referring to the original, I'm sure recreating it was much harder than throwing together the original was. |

It behoofs me to comment on this song. I wish "how now brown cow" and something about A1 sauce had been worked into the lyric somehow, but otherwise that was moo-y hilarioso. And I just about peed myself on the first "Let the beef talk" line. Perfect punnage on the original in this. And to paraphrase a related ad slogan: "This is how spoof...is done." |

Agreed with garnsr - I recently had to create a pop riff for my new original song, and it was rather easy. But if someone were to recreate, they'd have to pick out the loops and instruments I used without knowing what they're called *heh* |

That was my line of thought: you just twist knobs and press buttons and pull up whatever sounds you want to make the original, but if you try to do it again to get a definite sound (even if it's a pretty worthless sound,) it's got to be a whole lot harder. That's the one area where parody gains some respect from me, getting the music close to the original. |

Sorry, didn't mean to confuse your intention my friend! Actually as odd as it may sound, I get a little more respect for some of the things these artists can do with sound and beats when I get into a parody like this! I learn a LOT when I'm forced to figure out these sounds. Now perhaps I could learn to play guitar or something, lol! Thanks for listening FuMPsters! |

From a Vermonter to a Texan, it behoofs me say that this cow song is udder-ly delicious. Throw another one on the grill for Seamonkette, EMC, Big Mike, and "Bessy" as well. |
