Project Sisyphus Uncle Clyde 

It's been said that the heart is a lonely hunter. But, with the onset of hunting season, we thought we'd share a reciprocal viewpoint to this adage. Here's our story of a huntin' guy who finds true love-and isn't that really what we're all shooting for, in the end?

However, speaking of getting shot in the end, I need to say that 1. the vocalist-a session musician with some of LA's finest-prefers to be nameless, and 2. This song IS NOT IN ANY WAY AUTOBIOGRPAHICAL. No really.

Thanks guys! MrWompy-no it's not a parody of any particular song, just the big Nashville tearjerker ballad in general. The idea was that it begins tugging at your heartstrings right up until, oh, the end of the first verse. Glad y'all got it.

Thanks Dave and Djseamus—no, it's not Carl Hatmaker but yeah he does kinda sound like him a bit now that I remember. I'm kinda bummed none of my singer friends will do my projects without Mafia-level secrecy, but hell I wouldn't admit to singing this neither, so there you have it:)

Both me and my wife had a good laugh at it. I've been informed, though that the guy must be an East-coaster, since West coast hunters count only one antler. Had a good laugh at that, too.
