For reasons beyond the grasp of sentient beings, REO Speedwagon's 1985 power ballad "Can't Fight This Feeling" has been exhumed for a complete-cast singalong in the movie Horton Hears a Who, opening today. And that, my friends, is all the excuse needed for this song parody, which, you will be relieved to know, has nothing whatsoever to do with the movie. Lyrics by Spaff, who claims they're not autobiographical.

Makes my day every time there's a new Spaff/Lund song on The FuMP! :D One of you enterprising YouTubers should see if it's possible to time-synch this to the video for Weird Al's "Fat." Herein are the fat jokes Mr. Yankovic dared not make! |

For a moment, I thought this was going to be a parody on the King Missle song :-) |

First "Longer", and now this? Is male anatomy a new theme for the Fump? This rocks, don't get me wrong....I wave a metaphysical lighter to the soft-rock-solid- gold sounds of Lund and Spaff, but it's just funny to hear this song from the guys who previously brought us "99 Words for Boobs". |

Oh Lund, your sweet Hawaiian picture and tender crooning doesn't make ANYTHING hard to find! Spaff, again you just have to make us stay at the top of our game before we try parody. YOU are a living parody legend! While EMC is simply a living parody! :D See? Compare and contrast? I learned that waaaaay back in school....... Love the song! |

The scary thing is that there is a guy in my apartment building who IS this song. The man has to weigh in at 500lbs. *shiver* |

Another scary thing is that this song stays in my head, and I have to careful to not sing it when I'm around other people. Great parody! |

I love this, and people are looking at me funny now...
"why are you crying?"
"Are you ok?"
I must sound like I'm crying when I laugh this hard :p |

I clicked "play" before viewing the title page and as soon as the track started I was already laughing when I realized what Lund was spoofing. Very funny and clever. Thanks for the lol. |
