No Luke Ski FuMP for June 2009
FuMP fail for me. :( For the first time since the FuMP started in January 2007, a calendar month is going to pass without a song posted by Luke Ski. 29 months in a row. Quite a streak. It bums me out. The song I wanted to post for early May had to be put off til early June due to it being a collaboration that required more time (so instead I whipped up "Jello Shots" with the help of Bob Emmett). May was a busy month for me between PenguiCon, KeyCon, MarCon, and trying to work at Key Lime Cove as much as possible, and then Carrie's wedding. As June approached, I realized I still didn't have the proper time for the collaboration track, so I decided to put it off until early July. I wanted to crank out a different new tune in time for my early June slot, but in the end it was best for me to give my slot to Carrie for her new track recorded live at her wedding reception, "Killing You Softly" (available now at the FuMP dot com). To add to the bummer-ness of it all, the group I was intending to collaborate with seems to be falling through, so I'm most likely going to end up doing the song without them. The track will hopefully feature some cameo vocals by Carrie. So anyway, I apologize to my fans and fans of the FuMP for my lack of a new track this month. I'm going to do my best to work on a bunch of new music in June so my next CD will have a bunch of new album-exclusive tracks.
