Please request "TOO MUCH STUFF" for "the Dr. Demento Show"!

Earlier this month, Dr. Demento played my ode to pack-rat-ism, "Too Much Stuff" on his show! Dr. Demento likes the song so much, he's already asked for it to be included on the next Dr. Demento Basement Tapes CD fan club compilation! How awesome is that? If you'd like to hear the song played again on his show, and hopefully make the monthly Top Ten list, please REQUEST for “the Dr. Demento Show” to play “TOO MUCH STUFF” by the great Luke Ski again at the official request page, http://drdemento.com/request!!!

Did you know that now you can make your demented voice heard, literally?! That’s right, as a feature of “The Dr. Demento Show”, you now have the ability when requesting a song at his website to attach an audio file (wav or mp3) of yourself making your request, which could be used on the show itself! Yes! YOUR VOICE REQUEST COULD BE HEARD ON “THE DR. DEMENTO SHOW!” Find out all about it at the aforementioned request page: http://drdemento.com/request You will also receive a free online listen to the show if your request is chosen for broadcast!

You can find out all about “The Dr. Demento Show” at his website, http://www.drdemento.com , where you can listen to the show for just $2.00 an episode!

And of course, you can still download the song at the Website of the Funny Music Project, aka ‘the FuMP dot com’: http://www.thefump.com .

New Luke Ski song at the FuMP dot com: "SPOCK STAR"!

Captain's Log, Stardate -313819.0121448504, I've done many many songs about the Star Trek universe, but I've never done a song that was solely about the characters from the original 1966 TV series. I guess I always figured there were already tons of songs about those guys, so I instead concentrated on making songs about Data, Quark, 7 of 9, Neelix, etcetera. Now with a new prequel film looming, the time finally came for me to boldly go where everybody has gone before.

Background music by the Chief Engineer Emmett of Project Sisyphus. I also want to take a moment to acknowledge the following acts from the FuMP Sideshow, Curt The Camera Guy, C. Roses, Ridikulus, and Insane Ian, who all also did parodies of Rockstar by Nickelback, so please check out their stuff too. And do it soon, because they're coming along on my next mission wearing their brand new red shirts. Luke out.

And please be sure to LEAVE COMMENTS THERE FOR ME!

The Star Trek Workout - Day 7 - "The Naked Time"

Weeks ago I went to the Y and worked out while watching "The Naked Time", but I forgot to post about it. So here's the thoughts I can remember having on the episode at the time.

I remember the Next Gen episode "The Naked Now" which was based on this episode, where a virus gets on board the ship and everyone starts acting drunk. Amusing. Made even more amusing knowing what we know now about George Takei, seeing him running all over the ship shirtless and glistening with that fencing sword.

I need to get back on track with going to the Y. I let MarsCon, being sick, and MidSouthCon get in the way of going there over the past month.

Summer camp song

Waddle-ee-atcha, waddle-ee-atcha.
Doodle-ee-doo, doodle-ee-doo.
Waddle-ee-atcha, waddle-ee-atcha.
Doodle-ee-doo, doodle-ee-doo.
Simplest song, there ain't nothin' to it.
All ya gotta do is doodle-ee-doo it.
I like the rest, but the part I like best goes,
"Doodle-ee-doodle-ee-doo, QUACK QUACK!"

(repeat, increasing tempo with each repeat)

There's also hand gestures that go with this, but I don't remember what they are.
